Meet Gab and Mahtab!

As moms, we know how difficult the lack of sleep can be. As sleep consultants, we know how to help you get your life back. 

 

We trained with Baby’s Best Sleep to add evidence-based techniques to the skills we developed in our own nurseries. We’re based in Ottawa, and have experience helping parents all over through virtual support. We can’t wait to help you get your snooze (back) on!

 

Our Approach

We use evidence-based methods to help your little one learn to be a great sleeper. We help them get their snooze on independently, while still providing support and comfort as needed. Yes, there might be some tears (they’re your baby’s natural way of expressing frustration) but our technique aims to minimize the stress on both you and your baby through our gentle and effective system.

“If you would have asked me the secret to great sleep when my first was a newborn, I would’ve told you the Snoo was our godsend. Until the four-month sleep regression when it and its magic seemed to fade. 

 

I was feeling like a shell of myself, with no energy for my usual stress-relieving workouts. After a particularly bad night where I was up every four minutes, I knew it was time to teach my daughter the skills to sleep independently. 

 

Cue a whole new kind of magic: it worked, and quickly. Before long, I was exercising again, feeling brighter, and helping all of my friends, too. When my second came along, sleep came much easier using the techniques I’d learned. Knowing what a game-changer it is to get a good night’s sleep, I knew I wanted to get certified to help other parents feel like their best and rested selves.”

“If I could hit rewind, I’d have hired a sleep consultant right away. Instead, I spent so much time deep-diving into the corners of the internet for answers to my big question: why won’t my baby sleep?! 


Although in the end I got lucky with my first baby who was a champion sleeper, I was quickly humbled when I had my second! The research became a full-time job—and a full-time source of anxiety. I worried about how the lack of sleep would affect my family’s overall wellbeing. I eventually managed to get him to sleep through my hard-earned knowledge, but I regret the toll it took on my mental health along the way. 
 

With a passion for supporting maternal wellness, I decided to upgrade my self-taught techniques to certified, science-backed methods and become a formally trained sleep consultant. I love empowering families to master sleep with as little stress as possible.”
